Wondeful Pedestrian Bridge

Designed while at SPF:architects, the Wonderful Pedestrian Bridge began with a simple question: how could a piece of public infrastructure embody the values of the company behind it?

Wonderful’s identity is rooted in care—for its people, its communities and the world around it. Rather than treating that identity as something to be applied to the bridge, I wanted it to shape the architecture itself.

The bridge’s form grows from the intersection of two profiles: a heart derived from the Wonderful mark, carried through the center of the structure, and a bracket-like profile shaped around the pedestrian handrail. Their convergence generates a continuous, sculptural geometry in which the company’s identity is quietly embedded.

The result is both infrastructure and public gesture: a safe passage across the highway, and a recognizable presence that gives physical form to Wonderful’s relationship with its community.
